What is an Orthomosaic Map?

An orthomosaic (or ortho-mosaic) is a geometrically corrected aerial photograph created by stitching together hundreds or thousands of drone images. Unlike standard aerial photos, orthomosaics have uniform scale throughout, making them suitable for precise measurements.

2. Ground Control Points (GCPs)
